Daily Affirmations

It always amazes me how powerful daily affirmations can be. Basically, you tell the world what you want, or else you will get what is "left over". I use to be very consistent with daily affirmations, visualizations, and writing in my goal book -- on a daily basis for several years. Then, something came up and I have become very irregular with it over the last 18 months or so, but this week I committed myself again to doing that routine every day. Now that it is here in writing, I'll be held even more accountable!

Short, simple statements of what you are, not what you want. I am healthy, I am happy, I am prosperous. Not....I want to be healthy, I want to be happy. That won't work. Put it in the current state and see what happens. Write out your goals each day, even if it is brief. Think positive thoughts, images, and feelings.

As someone once told me: life isn't about finding yourself, it's about creating yourself. Perfectly stated and true! www.drpamschiro.blogspot.com
